Rajkummar Rao’s Bhool Chuk Maaf sees steady growth at box office, earns Rs. 27.75 crore in three days, promising numbers ahead.
Rajkummar Rao’s latest film Bhool Chuk Maaf has taken off in its theatrical run with the film being a time loop comedy doing well. The film started slowly but the box office collection has consistently increased. The film is on its way to the very respectable Rs. 30 crore and, despite is slow star, is closing in on breaking the lifetime collection of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency (Rs. 19 crore). Starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, the film is about the journey of a man experiencing the same day over and over again, the day before his wedding.
Looking at the box office collection, it had a Rs. 7 crore day one, Rs. 9.5 crore day two, and a Rs. 11.25 crore on day three which totals Rs. 27.75 crore in India. Even though it did not become a blockbuster movie it has released Rajkummar Rao’s Rs. 11.25 crore and Rs. 7 crore total on day three for the results (day three): Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video had a Rs. 6.4 crore ((listed above) on day three, and behind Stree 2 which took in Rs. 43.85 crore day three.
Bhool Chuk Maaf is performing better than Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which earned Rs. 6.4 crore on day three in relation to Rajkummar’s previous films. But behind his superhit Stree 2, which earned Rs. 43.85 crore on day three. It won’t have a very remarkable performance, but it is a decent addition to Rajkummar’s filmography. The film’s Sunday occupancy was about 30.01% in Hindi-speaking territories and the earnings are appropriate.
